TASK 2: ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF THE CLOUD.

Cloud computing means storing and accessing data and programs over the internet instead of our computer's hard drive.

The main advantages of the could on the internet are that you can storage all your emails, contacts, documents, photos, videos, music and have quick access to them. You can get on the cloud using internet with your mobile phone, tablet, computer at any time.

On the contrary, the disadvantages are that as it depends on internet,and like any hardware, cloud platforms can fail for any one of a thousand reasons. Another disadvantage can be the security, although their providers say that it is really safe, we have to bear in mind that no system is perfectly secure.

The main utilities of the cloud for me are Dropbox and icloud. I usually share information with a group of English teachers, and I use icloud in order to upload all my iphone and ipad information, photos, videos and contacts. It allows me to have the same data in all my apple products.
